Forward lines line up as shown - half ice

Combination of the "to the net" and "drop pass" drills.

1. C passes the puck to RW who while controlling the puck skates around the pylon.
2. C follows the play staying in the high slot.
3. LW goes directly to the net.
4. Coach picks either the C or the LW to cover and the RW is forced to get his head up and decide who to pass it to.

Start off passing to the RW, than pass to the LW and finally give the C the choice. Also start with pylons until they understand the importance of going to the outside.
