Start with players on the face-off marks start with forehand passing TO the players stick.
Use soft touch passing (cupping the puck and passing without hitting the puck gives better control).
Skate towards the receiver and turn backwards halfway always facing the puck prepared to receive next pass.
Speed and accuracy are important in this drill, as the technique is preemptive to breaking down defense structures.
Bring the groups closer together and speed up the passing.
Once skill levels are up the puck should remain in constant motion and the players should also remain in motion.
Backhand passing keep body square to the puck not turning the body from side to side just turning shoulders.
